s.t.u.f.f. stops you from fun.
s.t.u.f.f. stifles you from freedom.
Sit down and take some time to calculate how much of your precious time is spent on stuff. You spend time to research buying it. You spend time shopping for it. You spend time maintaining it. You spend time storing it. Are you starting to see a theme here? Do you have any time left to enjoy your stuff, your family, your life? Now all you have is a bunch of “stuff” consuming your life, and no money to enjoy your life. Get off the buying treadmill and start paying attention to what really matters in your life. Family, friends, pets. Isn’t that what you would save first in the event of a fire or flood? Start making small changes in your life today, cut back on your consumerism, and really think about what matters most.
Love your Blog. A lot of what you have to say, sounds like it is coming from deep within my own heart and soul.
Here’s a link to a sermon I’ve heard on this topic recently at Parker Hill Community Church. It is part of a series of messages on simplicity.

Paul, thank you so much for the nice compliment. I very much enjoyed the link you sent also. Simplicity is a subject that I could go on and on about, hence the blog. Thanks again and I hope you check back often.
