I have found that not only does the "demands of others" take away our time, but our own "past decisions" keep us in bondage -- seeming to forfeit the balanced life you talk about. I encourage young people who have not yet let their desires for "things" -making them slaves to their lenders - to follow the "Simple Wealth" practices of this blog. For those of us who are "unbalanced" and trying to find their way out - it is encouraging to find those "few hours on Sunday afternoon spent with a great book and a glass of iced tea" and to make them a priority on a regular basis.
